Jim has taken our Pony Club from random shots to top of the shoot every time. His easy manner and clear instructions are perfect for all he trains, from 8 year olds upwards. His advice and guidance have been invaluable and he has earned huge respect from our members, parents and kids alike.

Jim Newsome knows what it takes to compete at the top, how to get there, and how to maintain elite performance. Jim has a detailed technical understanding of the sport which he is able to clearly and effectively communicate to others. He has an uncanny ability to say the right thing at the right time, striking the perfect balance of support and encouragement, from an intuitive critical eye. I highly recommend Jim Newsome for his knowledge, experience and approach to coaching.

You can immediately tell that Jim creates the best environment for athletes to make the best of themselves if they are willing to put the time in. He is inherently analytical and always has some interesting insight into areas of improvement. This is always delivered in a positive way, and is always based on fact and a measured and well thought through opinion. I have already made significant progress with my technique and have always felt part of my own development goals and objectives.

I love your no nonsense, clear, keeping it simple style. It’s so easy to follow and you could see it really works brilliantly for the younger ones too - they seemed to enjoy themselves so much.
